Kathryn

"I enrolled in the program to enhance my technical skills, especially web-based technical communication."

Prior to enrolling in the MS.PTC program I completed a BA degree in Communication from NJIT and am now 60% through the MS.PTC program.  I chose the MS.PTC program at NJIT because of the distance learning feature as well as the school’s strong academic reputation.

Debbie Miksiewicz has a lifelong passion for learning.  It’s rare to catch her without a book on some new topic of interest.  As a part time student with a fulltime career she is always seeking out new learning opportunities in both her personal life and her career.

Ben

"The MSPTC stood out in terms of presentation (its website) and academics (its well-designed syllabus). In addition, the idea of developing an ePortfolio that demonstrated everything one had learned was very compelling."

In short, I describe myself as a writer with a technical streak. I'm someone who has a lot of hobbies (everything from photography to computers to aquariums), and I'm always interested in learning new things.
