Student-centered Learning Environment

What makes MSPTC  leading edge is not just the technological infrastructure of NJIT and the new media technologies we teach but the fact that we integrate these into a student-centered learning environment. Everything in our online teaching is student focused. We design and deliver courses with the emphasis on student learning and not on faculty teaching in order to create an online environment of community and trust.

Every MSPTC student develops a professional ePortfolio from the first to last day in the program that proves their employability and competency. Students continually develop their ePortfolios in every MSPTC course culminating in a final capstone seminar in which students polish and present their work. As you will see from the sample of ePortfolios below, students demonstrate their learning outcomes which are defined by the core skills demanded by employers.
