About the MS in Professional and Technical Communication

The Master of Science in Professional and Technical Communication (MS·PTC) program prepares its students for careers in a range of professions that involve communication and technology. Students learn to approach communication issues in a scholarly and professional manner, developing abilities in critical thinking, problem solving, and navigating effectively and ethically through our scientific and technological society.

MS·PTC is an innovative program of graduate study with completely online seminars for the working professional available in an anytime-anyplace format. Students acquire an understanding of professional communication issues, information technologies, and social media while developing a comprehensive ePortfolio that demonstrates their professional skills.
